The route starts in Lugo, inside the only complete Roman wall left standing in the world, and heads for the Atlantic. It then drops south through the Rías Baixas, into the canyons of the river Sil, and crosses into León through El Bierzo, finishing on the Castilian plateau. Distances are approximate: the fine detail of the track is still being set.
